Getting started
Libtee at a glance
Libtee is a workspace for teachers: you create exams and documents, with AI if you like, deliver them to your students and see the results. This page walks through the main screen and shows where everything is.

What you do in Libtee
- Create exams in the exam studio, on your own or with AI, write documents and worksheets, and upload files you already have.
- Everything you create or upload is kept in My storage, where you can arrange it in folders.
- Deliver to your students a digital or printed exam, a document or a folder. Students in your classes sign in with a personal code, without an account.
- Closed questions are checked automatically, and the results come to the exam's results page and to Analytics.
The side rail
The main areas are on the side of the screen, and the area you are in is marked:
- Home – the home page.
- My storage – all your items: exams, questions, documents, files and folders. More in My storage.
- Classrooms – your classes, their students and what each class was given. More in Classes: creating one and adding students.
- Exam studio – the editor where you build an exam. More in The exam editor.
- Analytics – a summary of your digital exams, and from there each exam's results. More in Analytics and charts.
At the bottom of the rail, Settings opens a menu: My profile, Preferences and AI. Depending on your role it also has Your page, Items on your page and Account (your plan and payments). Managers of a school account also find the account's pages there.

On phones and tablets the rail is hidden, and the menu button at the start of the top bar opens it.
Tip: Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on a Mac) opens a quick list of the areas and the settings pages. Type a few letters and press Enter.
The top bar

- Back – the arrow at the start of the bar goes back to the previous page.
- The search box in the middle looks for exams, files and folders in My storage. The / key takes you to it. More in Searching and filtering.
- Create with AI – opens the exam studio with the AI window. More in Creating an exam with AI.
- Notifications – the bell. The number on it is how many new notifications you have. Click it for the list: votes and comments on your items, invitations and requests to join a group or an account, and alerts about your account. You can clear each one, or all of them together.
- Your name and picture at the end of the bar open the user menu.
The user menu

- My account – your page as other teachers see it, with the items you shared.
- My profile – your name, picture, contact details and password. More in Profile and preferences.
- My activity – your favorites, votes, comments and import requests.
- Community – find teachers and groups.
- Language and Dark mode – the language of the screens, and a light or dark look.
- Help center – these pages.
- Sign out – signs you out. If you have more than one account, you also see Switch account.
The home page
Home opens it. At the top are a greeting and the date, and in a school account also the school's welcome message. Below them:
- Which exam shall we create? – describe the exam in a sentence and click Create with AI. The studio opens with the AI window and your topic. The ideas under the box fill it in with a click.
- Quick start – Build an exam, Upload files, Classes and My storage.
- Live exams – the digital exams open to students right now, and how many have been handed in.
- Pick up where you left off – the items that changed most recently. Exams and questions open in the studio, other items on their page.
- Your storage in numbers – how many items of each kind you have. Each number opens My items on its tab.
- Recent activity – what happened lately: what you did, and what others did with your items.
- What's new – news and announcements.
While your storage is still empty, most of these panels are replaced by Your first exam in three steps. More in First steps.
